About

being polychromatic!
Hi, my name is Janet, but took up CerebralJam as a username on so many websites I thought maybe it was best to try and bring it all together here.
I love the internet and everything it brings us, new friends, education, thirst, entertainment, companionship, instant news, radiant colours, broadening of all horizons.
I lost interest in the telly when I found the net. There’s just so much to explore and not enough hours… my favourite places? I love singing, always have – and through the net I found an avenue to met up with many extremely talented singers and musicians, that is the area of my life I always wanted to fulfill, and now I do it in my real life too because I have been accepted here. I have lost some of the shyness and awkwardness that used to control me and make me lose out in life, because I was forever saying ‘no thanks’, and stepping back, or simply not stepping forward. So there is a new self belief.
Favourite websites include, www.sing-share.com had to include that one, built it together with my very special friend Bruce, who I’d say encouraged me to this point where I am now and continues to build me when I need it most. I’d go as far as to say, if I had not met Bruce on the net, you wouldn’t be seeing me now. Especially hearing me. He’s an incredible guy, (and much akin in personality to my dad) he looks after people, nurtures them, and brings out the very best in them, he’s also incredibly talented, you need to hear him and you’ll find him on there.
Youtube! Wow the talent! And the funny bits, love animations.
Computer places – I love to tinker! My dad was a tinkerer, he’d have loved computers! He was always to be found in the back of our old black and white telly’s with their wee glass valves and resisters and one of mum’s plastic knitting needles, how she ever managed to knit anything was a wonder to me. I loved him very much, and I would have loved to have explored all this with him, including my singing. I remember him attending my Secondary School concert – where I sang Everly Brothers, Elvis and Jimi Hendrix? Don’t ask! Heheh, but he was proud as punch and made me feel like I was the most special person on earth. I miss him.
Oh, where was I? Computer sites
I have my favourites with special people who encouraged me there too, try www.netmag.com, and www.dotdragnet.com - you’ll find the very best folk here who are willing to help you with anything.
I’ll be more constructive with my thoughts at another time, but I just wanted to say hello and well, you’ll soon see (or not!) what I am about.
Thank you for coming my way today.
Janet
